Maringá
Third largest city in Paraná, Maringá, is a well-planned city and recently urbanized city. It is well-known for the quality of life it offers to its people and is an important regional highway junction.
The city is one of the most wooded cities in the country – preserving large areas of native forest such as the local Botanic Garden, the Pioneers Park and the Ingá Park.
The city is also famous for being an important regional agribusiness center, and its industrial park, specially in the clothing manufacturing business, which has become a reference in the fashion sector in Southern Brazil.
As an important regional services center, Maringá is part of a large area which includes Northern and Western Paraná, Southern Mato Grosso do Sul and the provinces of Northern Paraguai.
