Social Action

We are committed to a positive participation in the activities carried out by the communities among which we operate. Social action focused on human valuation and urban environment integrate our company into the communities and strengthen our principles on behalf of our teams.

The Sarnelli Community The Sarnelli Community engages in the recuperation of youngsters by withdrawing them from the streets and providing for their schooling and education. The Community reintegrates these youngsters into society when they are ready to start practicing some kind of profession and begin a new life. Plaenge was in charge of developing the plans and managing the construction of a Sarnelli support center in the metropolitan area of Curitiba.

Casa Transitória The Casa Transitória Irmã Dulce [Sister Dulce’s Temporary Home] receives adults and children arriving to the city of Cuiabá from other locations for treatment of cancer. The Home provides for housing, food, balanced diet, and assistance during treatment of the inmates whereas dedicated volunteers offer them care and affection. Plaenge has been working in a “Partnership” with the Home since 1995 and has built a new center for the institution.

	AACC AACC [Association for Assistance to Children with Cancer] receives, shelters, protects, and provides treatment to youngsters with cancer from Campo Grande and other cities, states and neighboring countries. Plaenge has been AACC’s partner-company since its organization and has coordinated the construction of AACC’s support house.

	Shelter - Lar dos Vovôs The purpose of The Albergue – Lar dos Vovôs [Home for Elders] is to provide support and housing to elderly people. Plaenge organized the group “Amigos do Albergue” [Friends to the Home for Elders] that coordinates the works of renovation required by the home. The group has been active since 2002.
